Established in 2009 by Lyn Norfor, Sheila Jayadev and Prue Williams, Emerald Productions is a boutique production company specialising in working with new talent and bringing bold projects to the screen.
Emerald has produced a slate of award-winning films that have screened at numerous international film festivals, won the highest honours at the Sydney and Melbourne International Film Festivals and have been nominated for a number of Australian Academy Awards. We pride ourselves on working with some of Australia’s most exciting emerging writers and directors.

SHEILA JAYADEV
Sheila is a producer of award winning feature films and prestige television drama. She produced ALI'S WEDDING in 2016 (Audience Award - Sydney Film Festival) as well as HERE OUT WEST which opened the Sydney Film Festival in 2021. Her television credits for Matchbox Pictures includes STATELESS which premiered at the Berlinale 2020 and won 13 Australian Academy Awards. In 2024 she produced the ground-breaking miniseries HOUSE OF GODS for the ABC which was selected for International Competition at Series Mania and won Best Actor. Sheila sits on the board of the Adelaide Film Festival.
LYN NORFOR
An experienced producer, Lyn's credits encompass drama and documentary film and television productions. She produced the feature film Undertow (2018) which is premiering at the Melbourne International Film Festival and Hot Mess (2018) which screened at the Seattle International Film Festival.
Lyn has produced numerous award-winning short films including Perception, funded by Screen Australia, that won the top short film prize at the Sydney Film Festival with its international premiere at Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival. Lyn is passionate about working with new, diverse storytellers and directors.
PRUE WILLIAMS
Prue has executive produced the Emerald short and feature film slate. She is the co-founder of a commercial property development and investment company specialising in the adaptive re-use of old and heritage buildings, and has over 25 years of experience in private equity raising, investment analysis, finance, acquisitions, investment structures, development management and project marketing. Prue is a graduate of the Centre for Screen Business at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
